Looking back on the past 25 years of the SZEGA food group, we remember opening our little 10 m2 store in 1994 (just after the regime change ) in Budagyöngye , one of the first malls in Hungary. Even at the time we were distinguished by having a larger variety of premium dairy products.

Over the years the store been developing continuously, growing in size and offering in larger assortments. Today one could say that we offer a full variety of quality groceries. We offer quality products ranging from small Hungarian and local products to international known.

Thanks to many years of hard work and to our customers we are Hungary’s top Gourmet / delicatessen supermarket. Our 500m2 store also offers warm food ( mini bistro) and has its own baked goods (bakery).

Over the years we have also expanded with different sales branches especial in the direction of online, ecommerce.

Our hard work is rewarded with satisfied customers and several awards including Best of Budapest Store, Store of the year!
